Alison is an Associate in and member of the Corporate and Commercial Practice Group. Her practice areas include banking and asset finance; corporate finance; capital markets; syndicated loans; project finance; general aspects of banking and finance law; and ship and aircraft financing, leasing and registration.
Prior to joining Appleby in February 2010, Alison was an associate in the Structured Trade and Commodity Finance team of Norton Rose, Paris where she gained experience in cross-jurisdictional asset financings. Before practising in Paris, Alison was an associate in the Capital Markets group of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York where she specialised in public and private securities offerings. Alison trained with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in London.
Alison graduated from the American University in Washington, DC in December 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She received her Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law of England & Wales in 2002 and completed the Legal Practise Course at BPP Law School in 2003. Alison is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales.
